Chimney Condition Assessment
Every new client relationship begins with our Chimney Condition Assessment—a comprehensive, professional evaluation of your entire chimney system. This is not a quick quote or sales visit—it’s a dedicated 2–3 hour service performed by certified technicians following recognized industry codes and safety guidelines.
Using advanced camera technology, we inspect every part of the system—from the firebox to the chimney cap—looking for any issues that could affect safety, efficiency, or long-term performance. Because chimneys are complex systems with interrelated parts, this full-system assessment is the only way to create an informed, customized plan for your chimney’s safe and efficient use.
While there is a fee for this in-depth service, if significant repairs are needed, the assessment fee is credited back to you when you choose to complete the work with our team.
Tailored Plan
With your goals in mind and a full understanding of your chimney system, our technicians work with you to create a customized plan that reflects your priorities while ensuring safety and code compliance.
This plan isn’t a presentation—it’s a conversation. We take time to listen, answer questions, and talk through options together. You’ll also receive a clear written version of the plan for your review and reference.
Repair + Restore
When repairs or upgrades are needed, our focus turns to bringing your tailored plan to life—safely, thoughtfully, and with expert attention to detail.
A dedicated Lead Technician is assigned to your project to oversee every step of the process, focusing on the details so you don’t have to. Behind the scenes, they refine the plan, develop a safety strategy, gather materials, and prepare for seamless execution. At key points, they’ll check in with you to confirm details—like brick or stone preferences, appliance features, or any changes you’d like to consider—so that by the time we’re at your home, everyone is aligned and ready.
Throughout this phase, we prioritize clear, responsive communication so you always feel informed, supported, and confident in the process.
Common repairs and services we provide include:
Wood, pellet, and gas stove installations
Masonry repair: tuck pointing, crowns, brick wash, brick replacement, chimney lowering, chimney rebuilds
Installation of liner systems
Chimney sweeps
Chimney systems naturally change over time, which is why industry standards recommend an annual inspection—often paired with a chimney sweep as needed. This phase is our opportunity to check in, share continued education, and help you get the most out of your system. We offer guidance on everything from wood quality and storage to burning techniques and efficiency tips.
If any issues have developed since your last visit, we’ll talk them through with you, answer questions, and help you decide the best path forward. Many of our clients have stayed with us for years—some for decades—and we’re proud to be a trusted part of keeping their homes safe and warm.
